Aqua is a reading adventure comprised of a variety of engaging early literacy games for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Aqua games focus on teaching kids vocabulary, inference, anaphora, and comprehension monitoring. Skills that are crucial to building a coherent and complete mental model of text as they read.
User Flow and UX
To build the best experience for kids and their teachers I collaborated with Academic Advisors, researched, and play tested with students. These were critical to designing game flow and wireframes .
The wireframes were fairly high fidelity due to our team being spread out internationally, and needing all the pieces to fit perfectly as the games are designed to be fun, but also academically rigorous.
